SERRA CLUB NUMBER #518
OF
SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA

Welcome to our Club's Web site! The site serves the San Bernardino, California Serra Club #518, its members, and those committed to religious vocations and lay careers throughout the Diocese's San Bernardino Vicariate.
As of July 1, 2009 the Club will celebrate its 30th year and is chartered by Serra International.
The San Bernardino SERRA Club is honored that you are visiting our Web site. Being a religious organization, we are always striving to find new ways to get our message out to current and prospective members. This Web site allows us to reach people we may never have been able to contact before.
Serra welcomes both men and women lay Catholics and permanent Deacons who are interested in sharing in the work of the Church by promoting and supporting vocations to the ordained ministry and consecrated life and by enhancing their own faith journey.
We work with individual parishes in the San Bernardino Vicariate to develop a vocations "awareness" in the parish. We reach out through various programs to encourage and assist seminarians; to invite young men and women who appear to have a "calling" to such a vocation, to give thought to it; and to encourage, support and show appreciation to our priests and religious for dedicating their lives to serve us and the Church.
Various Programs are also scheduled to help increase and deepen our understanding of our Roman Catholic faith.
Please use this site to access the information you need about SERRA and as a resource for broadening your faith. We look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you might have.

WE PRAY FOR VOCATIONS
Lord, You told us that "The Harvest indeed is great
but the laborers are few. Pray, therefore, the Lord of
the harvest to send laborers into His fields." We ask
You to strengthen us as we follow the vocation to
which You have called us. We pray particularly
for those called to serve as priests, deacons, sisters,
and brothers:
Those whom You have called.
Those You are calling now.
Those You will call in the future.
May they be open and responsive to the call of
serving Your people. We ask this through Christ,
our Lord. Amen.
